AlterG Lateral Exercises
With double-zipper shorts, lateral exercises become possible as you can zip into the machine at a 90° angle (left leg forward, or right leg forward).
Here are a few examples of the possibilities that open up.
Before doing any of these exercises on an AlterG, consult with your Physical Therapist or other medical professional.
Purchase AlterG Shorts
We sell both Standard and Double Zipper shorts that can be used on any AlterG Low-Gravity Treadmill.
Compatible with all anti-, low- and micro-gravity treadmills.
Standard: Single zipper. Appropriate for most individuals.
Double Zipper: Dual zippers allow for 90-degree orientation for lateral exercises — great choice for advanced athletes and people coming back from significant injuries or needing full-range PT.
SIZING: Scroll down to view Imperial and Metric sizing charts
Notes:
Both models are now solid-leg without velcro splits; disregard the detail from older photos that show split legs w/velcro in the double-zipper models.
Neoprene shorts were discontinued in 2021. Shorts are now constructed with tightly-woven polyester.
